This is a record of our Great Pyrenees' growth rates. When we got our first pyr Samson, we searched high and low around the internet for something like this but couldn't find a thing. So here's the stats for our own dogs in case others would like an idea of where their dog will weigh in at any given age up to three years old.

*We did not regularly record Samson's weight, so his line is just a guesstimate based on a combination of Ellie's growth pattern and what we can remember about Sam growing up.
I cannot wait to see what your one day "two-legged" blog looks like...this is great. Never thought of recording the 4 llegged kids' progress. I think poor Maggie is off the chart since we've had Millie...she steals Millie's food if I'm not looking. Fatty Maggie...or as Presley calls her "Fatty Acid"
ReplyDeletelol That's why I've only recorded their first three years; if they're still growing after that it's just fatness. ;)
ReplyDeletei didn't realize this was on your blog, but i'm SO glad i found it! it looks like chevy's pretty comparable. he's 6 months 1 week old and he's 55 lbs. and 24 inches at the withers. does that sound right to you?
ReplyDeleteChevy's weight definitely sounds good. We didn't keep up with their height as much as their weight, but since you mentioned it I might have to keep track of that more closely with pyrs we get in the future. In fact, if you want to keep a record of Chevy's growth (both weight and height), I'll be happy to include him in my chart here. :)
ReplyDeleteHe's now 7 months old, 70 lbs. and 25 inches. Just for your own personal comparison. :) I like writing it down like this!
